Our Founder
Our founder, Alexis McGibbon, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey. She has worked extensively throughout New Jersey's highest levels of therapeutic care providing treatment for adults, teens, and children affected by depression, anxiety and trauma since May of 2015. As a licensed therapist and ordained minister, Alexis' focus is on guiding clients in their personal healing, development of autonomy, and self-actualization. When the Lord spoke to Alexis and told her it was time to open Selah Counseling Services, she set her heart's desire on providing clinical and scripturally based counseling focused on finding freedom from the effects of depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and abuse.
